orientation week

If elected I promise to be as visible to first year students during orientation week as possible for two reasons:

1. As a two-time soph, I really enjoyed my o-week experiences.

2. It is important for the student council executives to be present during o-week to provide first year students the information they need to effectively get involved in the things they are passionate about.

For all the time that sophs will commit, all their hard work and effort, and for the impact they have on the community I believe sophing should be free.

• I do not believe that sophs should have to pay to volunteer their time when some are even taking time off work to volunteer.

• It is completely unfair to the amount of work that sophs put into orientation week to make them pay anything for it.

Finally, I want to increase the soph meal plans because I believe it is something that many sophs will utilize and it's something small that would make sophs feel more appreciated.
